Renovation with modern rustic style

One of the premises that we find most when making a reform is that the house ends up being the most welcoming

One of the premises that we find most when making a renovation is that the house ends up being the most welcoming, and without a doubt the modern rustic style fits perfectly in this sense.

What is the key to this style? Well, it combines the best of both worlds, that is, that warmth that transmits the most natural style, with the modern airs of current decoration.

It is precisely in a modern rustic style where we can locate one of our recent renovations. Starting off we find an old house with a tile roof, a mountain style house. And what are the decisions we make to adapt it to the wishes of our client? We tell you about them below!

Let's start with the facade. It was made of stone and we coated it in white and smoothed it up, turning into an ibizenco style. While in the bed rooms we kept the aluminum venetian blinds and in the windows we opted for an imitation of wood to give it a rustic touch, in the day area, on the other hand, the aluminum is metallic in a matt black color to give it that modern factor. that makes a difference.

The garden

As for the garden, in which there was absolutely nothing, we incorporated a pool with a synthetic wood deck from Fiberon. The pool was made of gleaming tile, which makes the water look more blue. We also put in real grass and planted palm trees, an olive tree and some other plants. Also, we put LED lighting outside. The wall was also fixed. It was all stone and we smoothed it out to make it modern rustic.

The porch we expanded. It was empty and we made a foundation closing with a wooden structure. To furnish it, we bet on the firm La Maison du Monde.

Once inside the house, let's go to the living room, which we expanded by taking the old terrace with a 5-meter end-to-end beam. We kept the fireplace that had wood, covering it with marble and a wooden envelope.

The whole day area consists of closed aluminum, with black glass doors and a small bar, in the purest English style. The floors are porcelain except for the kitchen entrance, for which we opted for hydraulic flooring and incorporated a border to vary from black to white, which gives it a very special touch.

A kitchen with contrasts

The kitchen also has hydraulic flooring, its furniture is white lacquered in a marqueted style, and the top is in imitation wood marble. We loved an old-fashioned type of Gessi faucet, as well as a glossy black vintage American classic Smeg fridge. We loved the idea of incorporating the display case with black glass.
As for the doors, they go to set the window with the English-style black aluminum. It is important to note that we lowered the ceilings, we put a built-in ceramic hood with the same from the Miele house and that the appliances are also Miele, in black, in conjunction with the refrigerator.

Speaking now of the toilet, we go up the hydraulic pavement on the wall. Its floor is white and the wall is dark to achieve a contrast that makes a difference. The furniture is suspended with the sink above it. The taps are from Rovira, while the custom-made mirror is round with built-in light. The toilets are suspended.

The staircase, metallic

We find a spiral staircase that we renew by making it metallic and covering it with wood and with the front in gray hydraulic pavement type tile, as in the rest of the house. The railing is now metallic and goes up to the part of the gullies. Golfers with parquet flooring furnished with La Maison du Monde. There was no bathroom in them, so we made a courtesy toilet with a rustic-style shower, Rovira taps, a built-in shower tray and a mirror and wooden beam.

On the lower floor there are three bedrooms: a suite, one for the youngest of the family and another for guests, all of them with built-in wardrobes.

So are the rooms

In the suite we put a headboard with small tables and incorporated an open dressing room. In the ceiling we bet on a very special detail: a lighting with methacrylate, which is spectacular. The suite closet is
imitation wood, while the bathroom is all microcement. We add a piece of furniture and cover it with microcement. The pikes are of the same material in light earth color. Again, Gessi taps, old style, suspended toilet and custom shower.

From the guest room, we would highlight its sailor-style door, with white stripes. Finally, the girl's room has built-in wardrobes, a custom-made bed with another underneath, a ceiling and wall lights. In the bathroom there is a built-in cabinet lined with microcement, the mirror is round and made to measure, and the blue flower taps are very beautiful.

We leave you with photographs of this reform so that you can see the final result, hoping you like it as much as we do!
